Ingredients

  • Mango puree- 1 cup
  • Butter- 1 cup
  • Flour- 1 cup
  • Corn flour- ¼ cup
  • Sugar powder- ¾ cup
  • Baking soda- 1 tsp
  • Vanilla essence- ¼ tsp

The ingredients needed to make a mango glaze are,

  • Mango pulp- 1 tbsp
  • Sugar- 2 tbsp
  • Water- 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice- 1 tsp

Lemon cream

  • Heavy cream- 1 cup
  • Icing sugar- ½ cup
  • Lemon juice- ½ tsp

Preheat the pan before start baking. Mesh all purposes of flour, baking powder, and baking soda. And then add butter, sugar powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl and beat it properly till the mixture becomes soft. Add the dry ingredients little by little. And beat it properly, the mixture becomes as hard as a dough. Add mango puree, vanilla essence and beat it until fluffy and shiny. Grease the cake and dust some dry all purposes of flour. Baking it at 180 degrees for 40- 45 minutes, take it and insert the toothpick, it should get out clean.

Make a lemon cream for decorating purpose. In a bowl, pour chill water, add a cream to a different bowl and place this bowl in the chill water and whisk the cream properly. Add icing sugar and lemon juice to it. Keep in the refrigerator. Decorating a cake is the important step after completing all the baking process. First, cut the cake into 2 equal horizontal pieces.
